Owner / Builder Program is a full service program for
the individual builder or
homeowner wanting to build his or her own home to save
money and time. Western Homes
full service design and engineering service is
capable of completing all of the necessary documentation
needed
to submit your project to the local building departments.
We don’t just design your home; we
complete the necessary construction documents, structural
engineering,
Title 24 Energy Compliance, and detailed drawings for
the Owner / Builder to follow through the construction
process. Western Homes designs for Structural Insulated
Panels, Insulated Concrete Form systems, as well as handcrafted
and milled log systems.
Western Homes also provides the
Owner / Builder a competitive Home
Package,
and will also provide a complete breakdown
of cost to facilitate the construction loan process. Western
Homes can assist the Owner / Builder with the construction
loan process by referring you to lenders eager to help
you and who understand Western Homes home package.
Western
Homes design service includes the use of innovative building
systems such as “smart
cabling” (or
Smart House), use of tankless water heaters, radiant heating
systems, high energy efficient HVAC and filter systems,
PEX plumbing systems, and incorporate the use of alternative
energy systems such as solar power packages.
Western Homes
Home packages provide the Owner / Builder with a complete
weather-tight material shell package. We
provide a complete pre-cut SIP panel wall system ready
to install, we offer a complete SIP panel roof system or
a pre-manufactured truss roof system depending on the design
of the home. Western Homes home package includes subfloor
building systems utilizing “I” joist systems
complete with all required hardware, windows, roof framing
materials, interior structural walls, various types of
exterior sidings and finishes, and high quality asphalt
shingle roofing and underlayments. Also included in our
Home packages are various types of composite decking and
railing systems. Western Homes Home package also includes
technical assistance during the course of construction.
A Western Homes representative will come to your job site
and teach you’re framing crew how to install panels
in several hours, or you may choose to have one of our
panel install crews come and erect your SIP panel walls
for you.
If you are building
with the Insulated Concrete Forms we have several certified building crews who can
install the
ICF system for you. Western Homes designs and sells many
types of home packages that are combinations of both
ICF and SIP panel systems.
